Obviously, how often you tweet is up to you and it would depend on the offer you would give and the goals you have for your advertising. But there are a couple of things I would like to say about this. I am envisioning that a business would not want to tweet more than once every two weeks. I also don’t think that you should be consistent with when you advertise. This may lead to losing business while students are waiting for your discount. Change it up. Change what you offer, when you offer. Maybe run ads two days in a row and no more for two or three weeks. Play with it.
You all are in business competing for the students dollars. But we would like to develop a community of your businesses that work together for the betterment of all of your businesses. Let’s face it, there are 40,000 students walking around out there. As good as it might sound to have them all show up at your door, it would be worse than a nightmare. If you over tweet, call your neighbor and ask them to send out an emergency tweet to help you out. Of course, I’m being facetious, but boy, what a problem to have.
